We are seeking an Assistant General Manager with prior experience, who has full availability. Someone responsible for promoting excellent staff/customer relations, ensures quality of customer experience is exceptional at all times. Consistently implements company standards. Helps to ensure that labor vs. sales costs meet expected goals

Responsibilities include: 

Working with the General Manager to ensure that labor vs. sales percentages are on target
Coach and direct staff when needed
Assist with issuing all warnings and written evaluations
Responsible for all office / money tasks
Coordinating ongoing GC trade program with local businesses
Assisting with Community Nights
All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Minimum 2 years restaurant or food service experience. If hired internally; minimum 2 years Shift Lead experience.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the work location. Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
Experience in various phases of dining room operation.
Must possess a general knowledge of food and beverage procedures and administration.
Highly developed communication skills.

Physical Requirments:

Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for extended periods of time. Must have good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and have the ability to lift bus pans and trays frequently up to 40 pounds. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to customer and other employees.

Working Conditions:

High noise levels, hot, must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, need to work nights and weekends.
